God always has used the office of "Elder" as the foundation of government within the family, in cities, and in the nation. Understanding the office of an Elder is important for the Elder and the people under his care. The Elders serve the people so that every person can perform his or her respective duties — in the home and community — in accordance with God's Will. This book deals with both aspects: The Elder's duty to the people and people's duty to the Elders.
