To find out Who the Son is, we must have the Father reveal Him. Then, the Son reveals the Father. We overcome through dependence upon the LORD’s Name. When we got saved, we were in darkness. (Palm Sunday) The Gospel of John, chapter twelve, says that palm branches were strewn upon the pathway as Jesus entered into Jerusalem. The date palm tree is a picture of the Crucified Christ and the Resurrected Christ. The bottom portion of the natural palm tree has no beauty. The roots underground and the rough roots on the outside of trunk represent the invisible and visible sufferings of the Crucified Christ. The top portion of the palm tree has six levels of branches, depicting the humility and exaltation of the Resurrected Christ. This lesson continues with the Parable of the Sower where some Seed fell on stony ground (Matthew 13:3-9 and Matthew 14:18-23). Stony ground is shallow and without moisture, so the Seed withers away. This is what we do if we do not seek the moisture from the Selah Rock, which is a picture of the Risen Christ, the Divine Creator of our spiritual Water supply.
